Sadly, I think most of us can say we know someone directly who has battled cancer. I’ve lost friends and family to it, and have friends and family who beat it. There’s no other other way around it.. Cancer sucks.
In March of 2010, I lost one of the greatest friends I’ve ever had, to cervical cancer. She left behind two very young children. It was and still is heartbreaking. While she struggled with what the chemo was doing to her- we talked about the hair loss, and dry discolored skin and how she felt guilty for even worrying about vanity when she was fighting a monster. But- we’re human. And women. And no matter what. I think we all like to feel pretty. There is nothing wrong with that. With these talks came my inspiration to help those who struggle to find a new normal. So I started offering free makeup lessons for any clients who are fighting or fought cancer.
Because October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month we’d like to remind our lovely ladies that we offer free makeup lessons as well as wig styling and care lessons to anyone who struggles with cancer of any kind. Whether you’re currently kicking cancers ass, or already kicked it. The invitation is ALWAYS open!
