That title, my dear friends was in the tune of the 12 days of Christmas. In honor of our lovely Christine. The lovely and amazing event planner Barbara with Barbaras Brides sent Christine our way. I knew right away that Christine was going to be a doll. Barbara sends me the best clients. I know I say that a lot about the vendors I work with, and it’s starting to make me think they like me! I mean, you only want to send your friends the best of the best right? And that’s Christine. So very kind. I met Christine at her makeup trial. (She had her hair stylist come in from Houston to do her hair). We spent most of the trial chatting. It was lovely. Especially for someone like me. Who will talk your ear off. Christine needed us to come out and do hair and makeup for her 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 2 flower girls. That’s 12 hair. Almost all of the bridesmaids added on airbrush makeup services as well. So needless to say, it was a busy day. But luckily I work with the best team of ladies. If you’ve worked with me you’ll know my lovely and amazing assistant Chelsea. If you haven’t worked with me, then you’ve probably worked with Tavia. She is the right hand lady of LucieMarie. I brought Tavia along for this group which is a rare treat. I hardly get to work with Tavia because she’s busy with weddings of her own.
So Chelsea and I worked on all of the hair while Tavia powered through some airbrush makeup. (with the exception of the bride. Because I did her trial, I did her makeup on her wedding day). It was a busy but super easy day. Everyone loved their looks, and pretty much wanted us to do whatever we wanted. I was having artistic freedom overload!
Christine chose airbrush makeup for it’s longevity, a natural eye that still “popped” and naturally dramatic lashes.
A super special thanks to Rebel with a Camera for sending me these pictures. I love not having to bug photographers for pictures!
